Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works Walkthrough

Disclaimer: I do not own Fate/stay night or anything contained within.


This is not the only way to get through, of course, but I picked a path that gives pretty much the most interesting and useful scenes. I will not be listing what all choices "don't matter," because, if you were going to pick every choice possible, why are you reading this anyway? If there is a choice that basically equates to do nothing and watch TV, I'm not going to have anyone make it who's just trying to get through.
Note that I do not exactly recommend using a walk-through for the Fate visual novel, since it's pretty easy to get through anyway (I compiled this originally from my notes I made for myself on all the different ways to cause different scenes to happen and reach all the Bad Ends), so only use this if you're still having trouble, you're trying to get the Good End to Unlimited Blade Works (yeah, I'll admit, that one is pretty complicated), or you're trying to get all the Tiger Dojos, which you should, because it unlocks a special scene if you do.
There is more than one (sometimes several) way to reach certain Tiger Dojos, but I listed the simplest ways to reach them, or, in a case of equal simplicity, the most interesting.
I would recommend saving at each choice I have a (Note:) under that talks about a different choice, following the advice of the note, then reloading the save and picking the "correct" choice to continue your main save.

Note you must finish Fate before you can go through Unlimited Blade Works, and you must finish Unlimited Blade Works before you can go through Heaven's Feel (does not apply to [Realta Nua] for Windows, but it's still recommended).


(Note: If you're on the [Realta Nua] Windows port, the one where all 3 routes come separate, many of the choices in the first 3 days will not exist, that is they will already be chosen for you appropriate to the route)

Day 1
2. I'll go and finish my daily routine.
2. I'll go to work.
3. I'll play with Fuji-Nee.

Day 2
No choices

Day 3
1. Stop her.
(Note: Does not appear on Fate/stay night [Realta Nua] for Windows)
2. ...Follow them.
(Note: Choice 3 here "Do as Tohsaka said." leads to Tiger Dojo 15)
2. Bring back Saber.

Day 4
1. Stay at the archery range.

Day 5
1. I'll go see how Saber's doing.
2. Jump back to the hallway...!
(Note: Choice 1 "Jump to the stairs...!" leads to Tiger Dojo 16)
1. Can I hand her my Command Spell...?
3. I can pull out this "nail" in my right arm...!
(Note: Choice 1 "Use the Command Spell." leads to Tiger Dojo 17)
1. I can't say for sure.

Day 6
2. I'll go see how Sakura's doing before the sun sets.

Day 7
1. ...She's after me. I'll give up and go out there.
2. Use the Command Spell to call for Saber.

Day 8
2. ...It'll be pointless, so I guess I won't ask.
(Note: Choice 1 here "...I guess I'll ask him." leads to Tiger Dojo 18)
3. Meat's on sale today. I'll make a huge meal to make Saber happy.
(Note: Choice 1 here "I'm worried about Sakura. I'll go to the Matou household." gives you an extra CG)

Day 9
1. It's too dangerous. Stop Tohsaka.
2. Protect Tohsaka...!
(Note: Choice 1 here "Go help Saber...!" leads to Tiger Dojo 19)

Day 10
1. I have to talk to Tohsaka.

Day 11
1. I'll make Japanese food in that case. Actually, I'll go take it out on the culprit.
1. Look inside.
1. Refuse.
(Note: Choice 2 here "Obey." leads to Tiger Dojo 20)

Day 12
1. Meet up with Tohsaka.
(Note: Choice 2 here "Go to the church for advice." will lead to Tiger Dojo 21 after one more choice)
2. ...Not yet. I can't act so recklessly.
(Note: Choice 1 here "...I'll go out. I can give Tohsaka an opening now...!" will lead to Tiger Dojo 22)
2. Help her.
3. We can't do this by ourselves. We'll cooperate with other Masters.

Day 13
2. ...Stop the man...!
2. ...I don't mind, but under one condition.
(Note: Choice 3 "...I refuse." here will lead to Tiger Dojo 23)

Day 14
1. ...What's wrong with stopping them if I can?

Day 15
1. Go over strategy with Tohsaka. -> TRUE END
OR
2. Go to the dojo to check up on Saber. -> GOOD END
OR
3. Think. -> TRUE END
(Note: It is recommended to go to the TRUE END first before the GOOD END, since already having seen the TRUE END gives the GOOD END greater impact) 
(Note: This should be obvious, but these choices only lead to the indicated endings if you have been following this walkthrough the entire time. There are many other choices in these walkthroughs which are also the same way, but this one in particular for some reason alone causes people to miss that point) 

Day 16
2. ...No way, I can't give up so easily...!
(Note: Choice 1 here "...I'll at least take him with me...!" leads to Tiger Dojo 24)
